I shall think next time not to expect everything to happen on schedule all the damn time- not getting the money that I have had so rightly worked hard for, so hard that I slept thru a momentous dinner visit & missed seeing my sister's lovely family. Oh how I have waited for this day when it would be my own money in my pocket & my gas in the car & breakfast served by some lovely waitress who I would be tipping a buck or two. I hate not having money & how worse it felt not having the money that I had earned-
when the second great depression comes-
I'll be ready.
I'll be ready because I'm used to not having money. I'll be ready because I know when to step aside & watch the world crumble. I'll be ready because the poor rejoice. I'll be ready because I have a guitar. I'll be ready because I got haert. I'll be ready because I have a brain that I can use. I'll be ready because I can appear to be stupid when necessary. I'll be ready because I got friends.
-so let the snow come. Hard times- come on & take me on- I am the nuttiest & I got two nuts to prove it- I dare you! come on & take me on! I got a denim jacket, a camo jacket, & a black leather motorcycle jacket & a fedora hat just for the hell of it! There's a desire in me & I am always free to drift from town to town when possible- all I'll need is ten bucks for food for energy- I can take the rain. Rain? HA! the rain is made for me to dance in- the rain is in love with me-
So fuck that money!
